Sime Darby Property has appointed Dato’ Ir. Mohd Sohimin Mohd Alayedin as its the new Managing Director of Property Development, effective today.
Dato’ Sohimin previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Property Development from 2022 to 2024 and Chief Operating Officer of Township Development between 2020 and 2022. He returns to the Group after leading a landmark development project in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, bringing over three decades of experience in the property sector.
In his new role, Dato’ Sohimin will oversee Sime Darby Property’s Property Development segment, focusing on strategic growth across landed homes, high-rise developments, industrial projects, as well as investment and asset management for recurring income.
