Niu Beach Hotel Moorea
This is a brand new quaint oceanfront hotel, consisting of 16 fully equipped private bungalows.
Niu Beach Hotel Moorea – Location
Situated on the beautiful island of Moorea and located just 44 kilometers from Papeete on the main island of Tahiti.
“Moorea is famous for its white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, verdant mountains and rich Polynesian culture.”
It can be easily reached from downtown Papeete with several fast ferry crossings daily, taking 35 to 40 minutes.
If you prefer to fly from Papeete airport, it’s a hop skip and jump, taking about 10 minutes.

Our Stay At The Niu Beach Hotel
After picking up our rental car, just a few minutes walk from the fast ferry terminal, our drive to the hotel which is located in Haapiti, took about 35 minutes.
Haapiti is located on the northwest part of the island, known for having some of the most beautiful beaches in the entire French Polynesia.
Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff and had previously arranged for an early check in. Our flight from Los Angeles arrived in Papeete at 5 am!
After the ferry crossing, picking up the rental car, grabbing groceries and driving to the hotel, we were able to check into our room before noon.

You have your choice of 3 different Bungalows to choose from. You can select from …
Beach Bungalow … Garden Bungalow … Duplex Garden Bungalow
For our 7 night stay, we were able to enjoy stays in their superb; Garden & Beachfront Bungalows.
Garden Bungalow
All bungalows have a remote controlled air-conditioned bedroom with sliding doors for privacy. The bedroom also has a ceiling fan and queen size bed.
The bath is complete with a full shower, and conveniences you would expect in this caliber of hotel.
Guest bungalows are beautifully decorated with a Polynesian touch and equipped with a full size kitchen.
There’s a comfortable living area, complete with a sofa bed for any additional guest/s.
Everything you need for your beachfront stay on this beautiful South Pacific Island in Paradise!
The adjoining kitchen is alongside, with a bar in front which opens up onto your private terrace.
There’s 3 high chairs and also furnished with a table, four chairs and two sunbeds for your convenience.
Beach Bungalow
For those guests wanting an unobstructed view of the lagoon out front, these beach bungalows are just perfect.
They have everything included as that of the Garden Bungalows, but without having any cottages in front, to obstruct your view.
From inside the bungalow and/or outside on your private terrace, you can enjoy early morning sunrises and watch the sun go down each day, right from your oceanfront accommodation.
Duplex Garden Bungalow
This large bungalow is perfect for families or a group of friends that may be traveling together.
As the two bungalows above, you have a private bedroom, living room with sofa bed and a mezzanine, complete with two single beds and a second bathroom for guests.
This full size bungalow is also equipped with two ceiling fans.
Niu Beach Hotel – Breakfast Buffet
For an additional daily charge, you have the choice of enjoying their breakfast buffet located just off the reception area.
They serve a nice assortment of breakfast items, including;
Fresh fruit, juices, coffee/tea, pastries, yogurt and more.
As well, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon is served at the buffet.
It is so nice not to have to head out each morning to search for a restaurant for those guests, who do not wish to prepare their own everyday. You have this nice option available to you during your stay.
We enjoyed breakfast at their buffet a number of times, during our 7 night stay.

Complimentary wi-fi in room and throughout the hotel grounds;

Kayaks/ Paddle Boards included for guests;
Private beachfront onto lagoon and more.
My wife and I had a wonderful 7 night stay at this hotel and on the island of Moorea. The private bungalows, hotel grounds and beachfront were very clean throughout our stay.
All hotel staff were very friendly and eager to assist in any way they could, to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as could be.
The beaches at the resort and nearby are absolutely beautiful!
There’s grocery marts, shops and restaurants, located just down the road from the hotel as well.
