was absolutely perfect for our 3 night stay!
A beautiful upper scale, luxury boutique hotel in downtown Toronto, Canada.
Le Germain Hotel Maple Leaf Square – Location
The hotel’s location is ideal for both business and pleasure travelers. In the heart of downtown Toronto and located right in Maple Leaf Square, step out the front doors and you’re steps from the Scotiabank Arena & Train Station.
This is home to the; Toronto Maple Leafs NHL Hockey Team and the Toronto Raptors NBA Basketball Team. This arena also hosts Premier live shows and many other major events held in the city.
Le Germain is located directly in the; sports, entertainment and business districts.
Toronto’s Union Station is also located in Maple Leaf Square. This was absolutely perfect for us and for guests arriving and leaving by train with; VIA Rail Canada.
Our Stay At Le Germain Hotel Maple Leaf Square
Immediately walking into the front reception and lobby area, you knew this was an upper class, but yet with a very casual flair to the hotel.
After being warmly greeted and quickly checked in by the front desk staff, we were booked into their; {Classic King} guest room.
Guests have a choice of rooms ranging from;
The Classic with King or Queens;
The Prestige with 2 Queens;
The Round Bed with large round bed;
The Signature Suite with King;
The Balcony Suite with King;
The Apartment Suite.
Our guest room was very stylish and with a modern, unique looking flair. Complete with extra large windows and bath, that definitely had that; 🪔 spa looking feel to it.
The king bed and bedding was attractive looking and very comfortable. In room wi-fi was excellent, along with a desk and chair complete with plugins, making this hotel perfect for pleasure and business travelers.
The photo above, is the view from our guest room window. A picture perfect view of the Toronto’s CN Tower. A great display of lights and changing colors, during the evening hours to view.
Our guest room included; complimentary in room specialty coffee and tea, along with a fully stocked mini-bar.

Deluxe Continental Breakfast
Your stay includes an excellent and well presented – complimentary continental breakfast. Staff are present to assist and serve you at all times during breakfast.
It was so nice, to not have to leave the hotel in the morning in search of a restaurant for breakfast. The selections were plentiful, with a variety of fresh food items to select from.
Staff were always very pleasant and helpful each morning!
Pet Friendly
As pet owners, we are so delighted to finally see upper scale hotels offering; pet friendly rooms for their guests.
We have stayed in some lovely properties in past years with our 4 legged companion. It’s great to see Le Germain, offering their guests this option.
With advance notice, they can also provide any necessary; pet essentials, you may need for your stay.
Bar Le Germain
Located right off the main lobby, guests can enjoy lunch or a light evening meal, that includes; tapas-style dishes. A mix of .. Canadian and World cuisine.
Or, simply choose to sit back and relax while enjoying your favorite cocktail. All, in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
Meeting Rooms
Le Germain Hotel Maple Leaf Square offers spaces for a variety of meetings and events. With state of the art technology, services and amenities offered, you’re sure to have the perfect space needed for that special event.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and at other affiliated Alt Hotels. All their properties were outstanding, during our travels throughout Eastern Canada.
For first time visitors like us to the city, you couldn’t ask for a better location. You’re also just minutes walking to the renowned; CN Tower and Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays {MLB} baseball team.
The beautiful waterfront promenade and other popular attractions, are also within minutes reach.
