Strengthening position in Dutch residential market with acquisition Gebroeders Blokland

Royal BAM Group nv and the shareholders of Gebroeders Blokland announce that they have reached an agreement regarding the acquisition of Gebroeders Blokland, an integrated residential property developer and builder based in Hardinxveld Giessendam. The acquisition will further strengthen BAM’s position in the Dutch residential property development and construction market.

Gebroeders Blokland brings a strong portfolio of land positions and residential projects across South Holland, Utrecht, Gelderland, and North Brabant  The portfolio comprises land and building rights for approximately 2,400 homes, primarily located in suburban areas. Gebroeders Blokland generated revenue of circa €95 million in 2025, with EBITDA of circa €10 million.

Combining BAM’s expertise with Gebroeders Bloklands strong regional presence unlocks meaningful growth opportunities. Together, the companies can pursue joint sales, acquire development and construction projects, expand their combined network, optimise project portfolios, and apply BAM’s Flow housing concept to suitable Gebroeders Blokland developments.

Gebroeders Blokland will continue to operate independently under its own name. Completion of the transaction is subject to approval by the Dutch Consumer and Market Authority (ACM) under the Dutch Competition Decree.
