GREENVILLE — Six new homes have been proposed for a prominent property heading into Greenville’s West End.
Situated at the southwestern corner of Augusta and Dunbar Streets, the cottage-style homes would be built with their rear to the main road.
An alley will be constructed on the interior of the property, and the backside of the homes will be “dressed up” to look more like the front of a home, said William Donahue, president at Copper Builders.
It’s a prominent corner less than half a mile from Fluor Field, Greenville High School and Gather GVL. Another Copper Builders project lies nearby at the massive County Square redevelopment.
“We’re excited about the location,” Donahue said. “It’s a high-visibility corner, and (with) what we’re doing with our product and the streetscape and landscaping, I think it’s really going to elevate that corner.”
Each home will have three bathrooms, two and half bathrooms and a two-car garage, Donahue said.
They’re working through the final development plan process, Donahue said. They hope to break ground in the second half of 2026 and start vertical construction by 2027.
A homeowners association will manage the common spaces, and owners will individually own their property. The price point is around the mid-$1 million mark, Donahue said.
