Marbella’s Golden Mile, one of the Mediterranean’s most exclusive areas, now hosts a new luxury development that reinforces the Costa del Sol’s leading position in the high-end market: Uno Marbella. Created by Jamsa, the project offers contemporary beachfront homes with resort-style amenities.
Situated in El Ancón, adjacent to the Puente Romano Hotel, the complex comprises 54 properties – including flats, penthouses and villas – all sold off-plan. Prices start at around €4 million, reaching €20 million for the detached villas, making it one of Spain’s most exclusive residential projects.
Uno Marbella has been conceived as a boutique development in a unique location. “There is no available beachfront land on the Golden Mile,” explains Juan Antonio Mora Romero, CEO of Jamsa. “We wanted to offer a beachfront residential experience, with a design that integrates the architecture with its surroundings,” he adds.
The development combines expansive terraces, panoramic windows and natural materials to maximise the connection between interior spaces and the surrounding landscape. Homes feature designer kitchens with top-of-the-range appliances, underfloor heating, advanced home automation and seamless flooring that integrates indoor and outdoor areas. Penthouses boast sweeping views of the Mediterranean, while the villas offer private pools and gardens overlooking the sea.
Delivery in 2026 and works so far
Construction of UNO Marbella is well underway, with completion and delivery expected in 2026. Jamsa has allowed buyers to personalise interior finishes and layouts – a crucial aspect of luxury living. “Each owner has been able to select materials, colours and textures while maintaining the overall aesthetic harmony of the development,” explains Mora Romero.
The development draws inspiration from the experience of a five-star resort, offering exclusive communal areas and services: a private beach club, spa and wellness centre, gym, infinity pools and extensive landscaped gardens. Residents will also benefit from concierge services and 24-hour security. “The aim is for residents to enjoy the comfort of a luxury hotel while maintaining the privacy of their own home,” explains Mora Romero.
UNO Marbella has been designed to meet sustainable construction standards and is pursuing BREEAM certification. The project incorporates natural ventilation, solar energy and low-impact materials. “Luxury is no longer measured solely by square metres or finishes, but also by efficiency and sustainability,” emphasises Jamsa’s CEO.
Million-dollar investment and international demand
The project represents an investment of over €200 million, financed through a combination of equity and a developer loan. The rapid sale of all units highlights the strong momentum in Marbella’s luxury property market, where international demand continues to rise.
“Marbella’s appeal keeps growing thanks to its climate, culinary scene and excellent connectivity with the rest of Europe,” explains Mora Romero. “Many buyers are seeking a second home or even a permanent move to the Costa del Sol.”
Industry reports indicate that Marbella’s prime property segment competes directly with destinations such as Ibiza and the French Riviera, yet offers more competitive prices and an exceptional quality of life.
Building in this area presents significant technical and logistical challenges. “The scarcity of land, strict urban and environmental regulations, and the complexity of coastal construction make projects like this particularly demanding,” notes Mora Romero. “However, these factors also ensure that developments like Uno Marbella are unique and highly valuable.”
Unlike many other luxury developments, Uno Marbella is not affiliated with hotel chains or fashion brands. “We wanted the project to have its own identity, rather than rely on an external brand for prestige,” says the CEO. This approach reflects a growing trend among buyers seeking privacy, authenticity and genuine exclusivity, moving away from the concept of branded residences.
The future of luxury real estate in Marbella
Jamsa anticipates that demand for luxury homes in Marbella will remain strong in the coming years. “The market has become more professional and attracts discerning yet stable buyers,” says Mora Romero. The group intends to continue investing in premium developments along the Costa del Sol.
Uno Marbella, therefore, consolidates its position as a benchmark for residential luxury and exemplifies how the Golden Mile market is evolving towards more sustainable, personalised and exclusive projects. With delivery scheduled for 2026, it is set to become one of the most iconic developments in the Mediterranean.
