United Trust Bank (UTB) has promoted Orla Costello and Ashley Collier to deputy head of originations and associate director respectively in its property development team.

Costello will co-manage the property development sales team with Paul De Croos, head of originations.

She has worked at UTB since 2014, and the firm said she had helped to develop “one of UTB’s largest portfolios, originating a high volume of diverse development finance deals across a variety of sectors”.

Prior to that, she worked at AIB for around eight years, most recently as lead relationship manager.

UTB said Collier’s “main area of focus will be overseeing intermediary relationships” and she will develop UTB’s “flow of high-quality proposal[s] from commercial finance brokers”.

She will also be supporting the team’s property development relationship directors and managers and helping them boost lending to developers and housebuilders.

Collier has worked at UTB for around five years, and before that, she was at Assetz Capital for around a year. She has also worked at Royal Bank of Scotland for around four years as a business performance manager.
