What makes a beach the “best”? For us at Coleman Concierge, it’s that rare blend of natural beauty, accessibility, memorable experiences, and, of course, a little magic. Whether it’s kayaking through luminous waters in the Philippines, kicking back on sugary white sands in the Whitsundays, or paddling glassy Gulf Coast bays near home in Alabama, these are the beach destinations that have inspired us—and travelers across the globe. Each one has earned its place with accolades, awe, and adventure.

This uninhabited island off the coast of Curaçao is a snorkeler or scuba divers’s dream! Day trips bring you to surreal, empty shores with a shipwreck, abandoned lighthouse, and vibrant coral just offshore. Few places feel so castaway-perfect, and we loved every minute of it!
Anse Lazio, Praslin Island, Seychelles

Also located in Seychelles, Anse Lazio consistently ranks among the top beaches globally. Think… emerald waters, white sand, and a backdrop of palm trees and granite formations. It’s a perfect postcard.

You know it’s special when you kayak through a crevice in limestone cliffs to get there. Hidden Beach in El Nido is exactly that—hidden. This secluded cove is surrounded by dramatic karst cliffs and remains a highlight from our Philippines adventure.

Famous as the filming location for The Beach, Maya Bay’s surreal setting—with cliffs rising over 300 feet—has captivated travelers for decades. After a brief closure for ecosystem recovery, it’s now open with sustainable tourism guidelines.

Frequently topping lists of the best beaches in the Caribbean and the world, Flamenco is a crescent-shaped paradise with calm waters and a famously Instagrammable tank left over from military training days. We wish we could have visited when we were in Puerto Rico, but due to ocean conditions, our trip diverted to another beach, so we will have to explore its shallow surf and vibrant reefs next visit. Fingers crossed!
